The Self - dual String Soliton in AdS 4 × S 7 spacetime

We construct a self-dual string soliton solution in AdS4×S spacetime, starting from the covariant equations of motion of M5-brane. We study the properties of the solution and find that it is half-BPS and has the same electric and magnetic charge. The straight string soliton solution behaves like the spiky solution in flat spacetime. Email:[email protected]
